These products allow Powerite to provide ¼ turn valves both manual and actuated for many of today’s process applications.
In addition Powerite can source product type or brand to suit the customer specification and with the Kinetrol actuator and accessory range, provide actuated valve solutions for most applications.
Powerite are the UK agent for the Rötelmann range of Hydraulic Valves.
With valves ranging from 1/8" to 2" and pressures up to 1500bar in the Ultra High Pressure range with various seat and seal materials there is a suitable valve for most applications.

This general purpose rubber lined valve is designed for long life, leak tight operation with low cost maintenance in mind.
Rib disc
The 316 stainless steel (JIS SCS14) rib disc comes standard from 50mm to 300mm. Thin profile disc reinforced by ribs (patent pending) provides larger Cv compared to our
conventional design. It also reduces weight while maintaining mechanical strength. A flat face disc is also available on request.
Self-aligning stem seal through backup ring
The stem seal is the primary and secondary seal system. The backup ring functions as the self-aligning stem seal.

The cosine curve seat ring reduces valve operating torque substantially and allows
the torque to be 
adjusted according to the working pressure.
Much longer life with spherical design
Similar to a spherical body rotating inside a spherical area, the operation of the disc is smooth
and unhindered. Torque is reduced and the valve life is lengthened by 300%.
The seat is ideally suited for use with the Kinetrol actuator which with its adjustable end stops can allow the valve to be set between 0 and 6° dependent on line pressure.
This reduces torque to operate the valve and increases significantly the life of the seat by keeping friction between the seat and disc to a minimum.

Segment Ball Valves are primarily designed for flow control, and can also be used for shut-off operation. The notched port on the segment ball contributes to strong shear stress to cut through media with fibres and particles.
Consequently, this Segment Ball Valve is a good general control valve (equal percentage flow character) for most pulp and paper process and slurry applications, or similar aggressive media.
Butterfly Damper Valves
Butterfly Damper Valves for use on fumes, gas and air at high temperatures in various diameters (DN50 -DN4000) and construction materials allowing temperatures up to 1000°C
Other designs available: Double Blade Butterfly Damper, Louvre, Multi-Louvre, Bypass, Diverter and Guillotine.
Kinetrol’s range of special engineered ball valves feature UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) seats and have been specially designed for high cycle reliability for abrasive process media, such as slurry.
Currently, they are available as 1” Class 900, 2” Class 900, 3 piece ball valves with a process temperature of -40ºC to +80ºC.
